At UCLL, we make applying easy and transparent for both EU and non-EU students. Our Bachelor in Computer Science program is open to curious minds from around the world who want to turn their passion for technology into a career. 

Whether you’re preparing to move to Belgium or just exploring your options, here’s everything you need to know about how to apply. 

✉️ Application Deadlines 

• 🗓 For students requiring a visa: April 1 (grace period until May 1) 

• 🗓 For all other students: August 31 

We recommend applying early to secure your place and allow enough time for visa processing. 

✉️ Admission Requirements 

• A qualifying secondary school diploma that grants access to higher education in your home country 

• An official translation if the diploma isn’t in English, Dutch, French, or German 

• English language proficiency: 

• TOEFL iBT: 79 

• IELTS: 6.5 

• Cambridge: B2 

Students from countries like the UK, USA, Canada (English-speaking), Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland are exempt from submitting a language test. 

✉️ Application Steps 

1. Create your application account 

2. Upload documents & pay the €50 fee 

3. Wait 2–4 weeks for a qualification review 

4. Complete your interview if eligible 

5. Non-EU students: Full tuition must be paid to receive a Letter of Admission

🌐 Visa Requirements for Non-EU Students 

You must show financial stability via one of the following: 

• Annexe 32: A sponsor agrees to cover your health, living, and education costs 

• Blocked Account: Transfer €850/month x 12 months = €10,200 to UCLL’s bank account to receive a Letter of Financial Guarantee 

This amount does not include tuition fees or other academic costs. 

Deadlines: 

• Visa documents: May 15 (Fall) / October 15 (Spring) 

• Tuition fee payment: May 31 (Fall) 

🎓 Final Step: Registration 

Once you have your Letter of Admission and (if applicable) your visa, you can register: 

• Fall semester: August 15 – October 1 

• Spring semester: January 15 – March 1
